The Problem

In an age where technological inventions and innovation have amazingly reduced the time it requires to accomplish a task, it seems as if time is something we never have.  So many things compete for our time and attention.  We fill our lives with activities like sports, school, studies, youth group gatherings, hobbies, technology, friends and family.  In 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, the Apostle Paul writes “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” This list of activities is not bad; however, we ask the questions, are these things helping you to fulfill God’s will in your life? Our suggestion is that they can if used strategically.  Along with never having enough time, our hearts and minds are constantly trying to be conquered by the naturalists, materialists, and social progressives, to name a few, who want to project on to all how to live, how to think, and what to believe.

Our Solution

Project 22 Six will provide you with ideas for using your time strategically and ammunition to fight off the evil influences in this world.  God’s word is unquestionably The Most Dangerous Book one could read, follow and implement the teachings into their lives.  We used God’s word as our inspiration for  Project 22 Six because we know through our own testimonies how powerful it is. Project 22 Six is a collection of practical ways to implement these “dangerous” teachings. Our vision is that this site will be used by a father with their kid(s) or a grandfather and their grandchildren(s) or a by a group of men and their kids together. Maybe a group of boys want to join Project 22 Six and use it as a guide to help them get established?

Chain of Command

The Lord’s Army

There is a battle going on between Good and Evil, but this is different than any that has ever been fought before…the outcome has been known by both sides before the battle was ever started. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1). Heaven was full of angels that were created to worship God. But Lucifer, one of the worship leaders, thought he could be like God and took one-third of the angels to his side and they were kicked out of heaven. Their mission is to take as many people to join their side, to fight against God and His believers.

Which side are you on? The Bible says that in the last days, Jesus will come back to earth with His followers and cast Lucifer (Satan) and his followers forever into the bottomless pit (Revelation 19:11-21, 20:10). If you haven’t made a decision to follow Jesus yet, it’s simple. All you have to do is believe that Jesus is the Son of God,  that He died for your sins, and rose on the 3rd day. You are now enlisted in the Lord’s Army and on the winning side. Project 22 Six will equip you for the battle. Fight on!

Project 22 Six Creed

I am a solider in the Lord’s Army.
My Commander in Chief is Jesus Christ.
My battle is not against flesh and blood,
but against powers and spiritual hosts of wickedness.
I will put on the Armor of God every day to withstand the devil.
I will gird my waist with truth.
I will put on the breastplate of righteousness.
I will shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
I will take the shield of faith.
I will take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
I stand in the victory that is already won.
I know that the power that raised Christ from the dead is working in me.
I am a new creation in Christ.I will fight the good fight of faith and store my treasure above.
I serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
I am a solider in the Lord’s Army.

Commander In Chief

Our Commander in Chief in the Lord’s Army is Jesus Christ. Often referred to as the “Lord of Hosts” (Psalm 46:7), Jesus is preparing His followers for the battle of Armageddon, where those who have put their trust in Him will return to defeat Satan and his followers. Jesus’ earthly ministry started in the tiny city of Bethlehem and was raised in Nazareth by Joseph and Mary. As a child, Jesus was often found teaching the scholars in the temple and helping out His parents.

When He began His public ministry, Jesus chose 12 disciples, many who were fishermen and tax collectors. These rugged men where called to assist Jesus in spreading His gospel of love and ministering to the crowds. Like His disciples, Jesus chooses us to be His hands and feet and share the Good News to those who don’t know Him. Like Jesus, we have the Holy Spirit to empower us to walk the path that we have been called to walk. Be faithful to your calling and obedient to the commands of your Commander in Chief. Where are these commands found…in the Bible. “Study to show thyself approved to God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

I wish I could clone myself so I could have enough of me to enjoy all of my hobbies and take care of my responsibilities!” This is something I often find myself thinking about…but since this is not possible, I need to prioritize my time between what I want to do and what I need to do. This is where the dilemma occurs because I love my kids but I find that I sometimes love myself too much. I need to remember Jesus’ words “die to self”. I pray that this podcast will help you as the spiritual leader of your family that God has called you to be as we discuss our challenges and struggles, striving to be a “man after God’s heart.

Tim Werle

Married for 23 years and a father of 3.  Daughters 19 and 14, son 8.  Tim works as a Fire Captain in a metropolitan city and is a Fire Chaplain for the same fire department.

In my never ending desire to be the best father I can be, of which I fall short of many times, I constantly struggle with balancing work, rest, and being involved in my children’s lives.  But where is the ME time? Well, that’s just it… there is not much of it.  Being a good father means sacrificing my own desires for the growth and edification on my children.  In my life, I say God, Family, Fire and in that order.  Kids are a joy, commitment, heartache, and a never ending quest to do it better.  I pray that you will be blessed through this ministry.  May God develop you to be the best father you can be.
